Per Everett Police Department a U.S. Postal Worker has been taken to a hospital with a gunshot wound and a driver with a major delivery company has been detained following a shooting at an apartment complex on West Mall Drive next to the south Everett Police precinct in Everett, Washington. Update 10:00 PM: The U.S.P.S. worker was reportedly shot in the face and transferred from an Everett hospital to Harborview in Seattle. The suspect was arrested by Everett Police and booked into the Snohomish County Jail for suspicion of 1st degree assault. U.S. Postal Inspectors and Everett Police continue to investigate the circumstances around the shooting.
