A number of years ago the City of Everett, Washington started calling the time period between Thanksgiving and New Year’s Eve, “Wintertide”. It encompasses the growing number of activities all over the City from the annual arrival of Santa in downtown to a sparkling lit Arboretum, stuffing a bus with toys in south Everett to strolling the waterfront. As a way to help spread the word of Wintertide, ten different businesses are having their storefronts decorated with murals by Lori Angdahl aka “the happylittlepainter” We caught her getting started with murals at Kate’s Restaurant and Zamarama Gallery today. Here’s a brief look.

Wintertide officially kicks off Friday November 28th with Santa’s arrival on a fire truck in downtown Everett. Click here for all the details.
