For the month of August ten pianos have been placed around public spaces in Everett, Washington. Street Tunes, an interactive art project presented by the City of Everett takes donated pianos, asks artists to decorate them, tunes ’em up and places them in spots where the public has a chance to artfully express themselves no matter their level of playing ability. Here are “Seen in Everett” photos of five of the ten pianos placed around Everett. Click here for a link to the City’s website and an interactive map of all 10 piano locations.
