Update from Everett Police Department 9:32AM: At approximately 1 am this morning, Everett Police officers responded to a reported stabbing in the 2600 block of Wetmore Ave.
The victim, a male in his 30s, was transported to the hospital by the Everett Fire Department.
The suspect, a male in his 20s, initially fled the scene but was later located and arrested.
He was booked into the Snohomish County Jail for Assault 1.
This is an active investigation and there are no further details at this time.
Shortly before 1AM police and firefighters were dispatched to reports of a person who had been stabbed behind the Catholic Community Services Recovery Center in the 2600 block of Wetmore Avenue in downtown Everett, Washington. Arriving Everett Police found one victim who appeared to have been stabbed. Medics from Everett Fire treated the victim and transported to Providence Regional Medical Center.
