Was on a walk along Colby Sunday night just south of Leland Dart Photography‘s downtown Everett photo studio when I noticed some activity at the former Everett Improv Bar and Stage at 2610 Colby Avenue. Poked my head in the door and met Haley and Ryan, (former employees of E. I. which closed on the 9th of August after six years), who were cleaning and painting. We chatted for a bit and they tell me they are re-opening the space under the name “Strange Ways” and say it will have a similar format. They’re going through the permitting process and hope to open in the next 30 – 60 days.
