Update from Everett Police 8:30 AM: At approximately 2:30 a.m. this morning, Everett Police officers responded to a fatality collision in the 4300 block of Rucker Ave. Prior to the collision, Washington State Patrol was conducting a DUI investigation in South Everett. During this investigation, the involved vehicle fled from law enforcement and proceeded northbound, where it crashed into a building in the 4300 block of Rucker Ave. Two adult male subjects occupied the vehicle at the time of the crash. One was pronounced dead at the scene. The additional occupant was transported to the hospital.
Original Post 3:30 AM: Not a lot of details yet but all lanes of Rucker Avenue between 43rd and 47th in Everett, Washington are shut down for the investigation of a fatal crash. Shortly after 2:30 AM there was a crash that left one person dead in the 4400 block of Rucker Avenue. This followed an apparent pursuit involving the Washington State Patrol.
