More than 100 years ago a memorial to past firefighters in Everett, Washington was begun by what was then known as the Everett Firemen’s Relief Association at Evergreen Cemetery. Each year as Memorial Day Weekend arrives, members of the Everett Firefighters Association (made up of current and retired Everett, WA firefighters), gather to clean, refresh and honor those who have been laid to rest there.
