With the uncertain situation regarding SNAP benefits, the City of Everett, Washington has updated the list of available food banks within the city limits. Here’s what came out Thursday evening.

As colder weather approaches and with potential interruptions to the federal Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) due to ongoing federal budget negotiations, the City of Everett is raising awareness of local food and shelter resources are available for anyone in need.
The City of Everett partners with Snohomish County, nonprofits, churches and service providers to support local access to nutritious food, hot meals and shelter year-round, but it’s particularly important during the colder months.
“Even a temporary disruption to food benefits would be incredibly harmful to many of our local families, but Everett is a community that looks out for one another,” said Everett Mayor Cassie Franklin. “There are organizations here in Everett ready to assist. And if you’re in a position to give back, this is a great time to volunteer or donate to support those same local programs.”
