Update 01-08-2026: Per Everett Fire, sadly the occupant transported to the hospital passed away.
It’s been a very busy day for Firefighters in Everett, Washington. Not only for Everett Fire Crews but also surrounding area agencies who have come in to assist on major calls. Just before noon, at the same time Everett Firefighters (and mutual aid crews) were dealing with a five car crash south of Eastmont in which there were multiple patients and a double fatality; a report came in of a fire at a unit at the Nova North Apartments on 10th Avenue West. Firefighters from Mukilteo and South County Fire joined Everett Fire in the response. One person was reportedly given CPR and taken to an Everett hospital. A second person from the apartment was also transported to be checked for smoke inhalation. Firefighters contained the fire to the apartment bedroom and no other residents were displaced. The cause of the fire is under investigation. Here are some “Seen In Everett” photos of crews at the call.
