A call of a house fire Friday evening added to what has been a very long day for members of the fire department in Everett, Washington. Around 6:30PM the report came in of a kitchen on fire at a house in the 2100 block of Pine Street. Arriving Everett Firefighters found heavy smoke coming from the home. The resident got out of the home without injury and crews got a quick knockdown on the fire. Additional help for Everett came from Tulalip Bay and Snohomish Regional Fire.
