These photos were taken around 8AM in Everett, Washington on Friday December 12th. The Lowell-Snohomish River road remains closed with flooding over the roadway in multiple locations. The Snohomish River has topped the levy and while Lowell-Larimer Road is open there is significant flooding in the valley east of the roadway. Trains are getting through with no affect to their tracks. You can see the water level behind the Big Red Community Barn and the old KRKO radio tower bases. Rotary Park remains closed with the water level about the same as Thursday. A final bonus photo of a heron hanging out on the rookery at the 10th street boat launch which does not appear to be affected. Click photo to enlarge.
