The formal dedication of the new off-leash dog park at Clark Park in Everett, Washington is set for Tuesday July 29th at 4:00 PM. The park is currently undergoing what some are calling a soft opening and you can access it daily from 6 AM until dusk. It covers about half of Clark Park on the east side of the tennis courts stretching between the playground and south end of the property. It’s fully fenced with an entrance on the north end next to the play equipment and another at the corner of 25th street and Lombard. There are sally ports at each entrance to control the entry and exit to the actual doggo play area. You’ll find a fire hydrant in the park and several trees but there is no running water inside the dog park. The City looked at adding a spigot but that did not happen. There are however two water fountains, including one with a bottle filling station, on the west side of the tennis courts on Oakes Avenue. Here are a few Seen in Everett photos of the park taken this morning. Click photo to enlarge.
