Detectives with the traffic safety unit of the Police Department in Everett, Washington have been called out to the 8400 block of Evergreen Way to investigate a collision involving a pedestrian and an Everett Transit bus. It happened around 6:30 PM Saturday night. Everett Police confirmed the pedestrian was transported to the hospital. 3 southbound lanes of Evergreen Way are closed for the investigation. No word when they will reopen. Here are a few Seen in Everett photos snapped when we came upon the incident. As the investigation was just getting underway at the time of this writing, no other details were available. This is the second collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian to be investigated by the EPD Traffic Safety in as many days. Friday evening a pedestrian was sent to the hospital following a collision with a car just north of Pacific on Rucker in downtown Everett, Washington.
