An engineer from the City of Everett is checking the structural integrity of the Althea’s Footwear Solutions building at 1932 Broadway in north Everett, Washington after a vehicle crashed into the south wall. The business was closed at the time of the crash. It happened about 3:00 PM Sunday afternoon. The driver was the only occupant of the car and was taken by ambulance to Providence Regional Medical Center to be checked out after medics and firefighters with Everett Fire Department worked for about 30 minutes to free them from the car which was covered in debris. The car had been headed northbound on Broadway when it crossed over the southbound lanes, hit a lamp post and fully went into the building. There were no injuries reported other than the driver. Here are a few of Seen in Everett photos from the scene.
