Major Crimes Detectives with Everett Police Department today announced an arrest in a fatal shooting in the area of the Charter Club Apartments at the south end of Silver Lake in south Everett, Washington on December 11th.

Today, members of the Everett Police Department Anti-Crime Team (ACT) and Violent Crime Unit (VCU) arrested a suspect in connection with a murder which occurred in December of last year.
On December 11, 2024, at approximately 7:30pm, officers responded to multiple reports of shots heard near 121st St SE and 19th Ave SE.
Officers arrived in the area and discovered the victim, a male in his 40s, who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Lifesaving efforts were attempted, but he died at the scene.
Immediately following the incident, a drone and K-9 track were utilized to search for the suspect, who was not located at the time.
Since December, Major Crimes Detectives have been working to identify a suspect.
On February 25, 2025, at approximately 11:00am, ACT, VCU, and Major Crimes Detectives arrested an 18-year-old male in conjunction with this incident.
He will be booked into the Snohomish County Jail for Murder 2.
