At least a half-dozen police officers were spotted at the southwest corner of Everett and Broadway Avenue in Everett, Washington just before 6:00PM Friday night. Everett Police were called to a report of an assault with a weapon and on arrival found one person with an obvious wound who was transported by Everett Fire to Providence Regional Medical Center with what were called non-life-threatening injuries. Officers were gathering evidence and talking to possible witnesses. At this writing, the investigation was just getting underway and no suspects had been located.
