35-Year-Old Parrot Saved – No Human Injuries in House Fire on High Street in Everett, Washington

A parrot was given oxygen and appears to be okay following a house fire in the 4000 block of High Street in Everett, Washington. The call of a house fire came in about 6:30 AM on Thursday September 11th. Everett Fire crews got a quick stop on the fire. In addition to residents there were several parrots in the house. A 35-year-old parrot received oxygen and appeared to be okay. There were no reports of injuries to the residents. Here are some photos taken at the scene. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
