Just before 8:30 this morning Everett Firefighters were called to an apartment building in the 4600 Block of Fowler Avenue in central Everett, Washington to reports of an alarm and smoke in one of the buildings. Responding Crews located smoke in a hallway and also coming from one unit. Crews entered the unit and found one person inside. They attempted life-saving measures but the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. This is an ongoing investigation.
