An incident that involved shots fired at the Far West Motel in the 6000 block of Evergreen Way in Everett, Washington has gone on for more than four hours as of this writing. (4:53pm) Everett Police were dealing with people in one of the rooms at the Motel when shots were reportedly fired. There is no word on who fired the shots but two people would not come out of the room and Everett Police on scene called for backup and the Region 1 SWAT Team responded along with a large contingent of Everett Fire Medical personnel.
The standoff continued throughout the afternoon and the southbound lane of Evergreen Way was blocked throughout the day. Here are some Seen in Everett Photos as events unfolded. We’ll update as information becomes available. Shortly after 5 PM the Region 1 SWAT team served a search warrant and put chemical irritants into the motel room taking two people into custody. The case remains in active investigation.
