On Tuesday September 29th Everett Mayor Cassie Franklin announced on social media that John Carswell would lead an investor group that will work to secure both a USL League Men’s and Women’s soccer team to play at the Outdoor Event Center currently being planned in downtown Everett, Washington. Few details about the investor group were made public but Seen in Everett did confirm Carswell’s participation in the project and understands a press conference is set for later this week. The Everett Aquasox would share use of the stadium with the soccer clubs.
