This afternoon Marine Units with the Everett Police Department and Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office raised the vessel involved in an incident that left three people dead and a fourth injured while the four were shrimping in Possession Sound west of Harborview Park in Everett, Washington back on May 21st. The boat was floated and then towed to the10th Street Boat Launch at the Port of Everett Marina. It was then removed from the water and impounded by Everett Police who are still investigating the incident. The bodies of two of the three boaters who went missing, a man in his 60s, and his coworker, a woman in her 40s, were recovered last month but the man’s son who was in his 20’s has not been recovered. The fourth person in the boat, a man in his 50’s was rescued by a nearby boater from the water at the time of the incident.
